As mystery once said, “Everyone’s favorite conversation topic is themselves”.

That’s an important fact for any PUA.  You want her to reveal as much about herself as possible in order to get more material to work with and because it makes her more comfortable, BUT she’s more than happy to do so. 

So next time you’re struggling in a stalled conversation, just volunteer a few things about yourself and then let her go on about herself.  It’s win-win.

As you’ve probably noticed, attractive women tend to travel in packs, whether surrounded by other attractive women or (more often) surrounded by an escort of less attractive women.  

These groups always get the same reaction from men:  a man approaches the group and goes straight for the most attractive woman, making her feel uncomfortable and angering the rest of her entourage.  If you want to stand a chance in these groups, chat up the less attractive women in the group.  The surprise alone should buy you time, get you some acceptance in the group and get you noticed by your real target.

As much as they may talk about the sweet and sensitive guy, at some level, women want the aggressive alpha male.  It’s just biology.

Unfortunately, we’re just slightly more civilized than the chimps and that doesn’t mean you should start bar fights.  In a social context, being perceived as the “alpha male” means becoming the center of the conversation or interaction.  Take some time to engage other people in the group (even if it means ignoring your target briefly).

Don’t devote so much time or energy to a woman that she might begin to undervalue your time or presence, even take it for granted.  Alternatively, if you seem too uninterested, you risk making yourself seem unatainable.  Strike a balance between making yourself available and being unavailable (by leaving to talk with friends, giving her friends more attention, etc.) and she should be the one that looks for you.

Women are used to the flattery of the traditional pick-up line.  They’ve been called beautiful and then never called again too many times to fall for it again, but slight playful insults are something they’re not used to hearing.  Hence, the power of the neg.

Even in your complements, however, keep it to personality, clothes, etc. and never directly complement her beauty (yes, even if she’s a model).  Try turn every complement into a slight neg to keep her interested and make yourself stand out.

She wants to know that you’re listening, but can often overwhelm you with information in order to keep your attention.

The trick is not to try remember everything, but a select few very specific details (especially if you can integrate those details into a routine).  When a woman hears the detail repeated back to her, she’ll think you’ve been listening that attentively to everything, which should make her feel more comfortable.

While too much silence or long pauses can make a conversation seem awkward and uncomfortable, limited silences, especially if you’re controlling when they begin and end, can keep a woman excited and engaged.  Don’t think of silence as a lull in the conversation, but as another chance to control communication.  

Use moments of silence as a way to elicit reactions from her, stay engaged visually during silence, and try be the one to break the silences with new routines.  If things are going really well, interrupt a period of silence with a kiss.

There’s no such thing as bad attention in PUA; anything that get you noticed should play in your favor.  Mystery uses the term “Peacocking” to describe absurd garments or props that stand out (big wigs, hats, etc.) and get you noticed in a social situation.  The truly noticeable, ridiculous and maybe even funny not only gets you noticed but is a good ice breaker and makes you seem more approachable to women.

For a woman, moving on to physical contact is not only a quiestion of desire, which women feel as much as men, but also a matter of comfort.  In order to keep an interaction progressing quickly toward physical contact, try small gestures that convey comfort, the things you would only do in a long, comfortable relationship.  Physical actions, like picking an imaginary eyelash off her face or wiping off some food on her lower lip can be especially powerful.

While, as even recent scientific evidence suggests, social proof is an important part of the basic psychology of pick-up everyhere and anwhere, the idea is especially true in Latin America.

In a place where inter-personal relationships are extremely important and individuals are often understood in the context of the social relationships they maintain, every woman in a bar will be looking to the people you bring and the other women you interact with as proof of what you bring to the table for them.

An object of desire or interest for any woman, can more plausibly become an object of desire and interest for her.
